LAWAL Olarewaju Mubashiru received a master's degree in agricultural and environmental engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, in 2015 and a PhD in nuclear science and technology from Xian Jiaotong University, China, in 2019. Since 2001, he has worked in different schools, published more than 20 papers in respected journals, and worked at different research institutions, including the College of Agriculture Engineering at Shanxi Agricultural University in China. Additionally, He is a reviewer for several journals and a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE). His research interests include machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision and robotics, electronic sensors, smart agriculture, food irradiation, crop storage and processing, machine design and fabrication, and the development of processing and storage equipment.
